The Easthills Planning to Round out 2014 & early ’15 with Recording

The Easthills have announced plans to focus on the recording of their next release, slated to come out in early 2015. Will, Hank, Brad, Wade and Banner are already hard at work with producer Doug Henthorn on new tracks. The band has already road tested a few of the tunes including “Mothers & Fools”, already a popular live cut.

The band has been busy for the past year and half playing shows across the Midwest in support of their critically-acclaimed full-length debut album “Death of a Salesman” (April 2013) and EP “World Class Prick” (May 2014). Over the past year and half The Easthills have played with (or appeared on festivals with) the likes of REO Speedwagon, Tesla, Here Come the Mummies, Fastball, Cracker, Ian McLagan (of The Faces & Rolling Stones), Meat Puppets, Georgia Satellites, Roky Erikson, The Flaming Lips, The Romantics, Drivin’ N’ Cryin’, Tom Keifer (of Cinderella), The Black Owls and many more.

They will round out the final dates of their shows in support of both releases by appearing on the Main Stage/River Stage at WARMfest in Indianapolis on Sun, August 31 alongside Guided By Voices, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Big Head Todd and more & then a direct support slot for Blues Traveler on Fri, September 5 as part of the Indianapolis Colts Season Kick Off Concert on Georgia Street, also in Indy.
