The Final Four & Final Countdown make for a Studio break in April for The Easthills

Rushville, Indiana based rock band The Easthills are currently recording their sophomore full length album with producer Doug Henthorn. The band has worked up over a dozen new songs that feature some soon to be announced special guests and a clear evolution in songwriting and sound.

In the midst of recording the new album The Eastills will be playing two special shows in April beginning this Friday, April 3 in downtown Indianapolis as part of the NCAA March Madness Music Festival. The band will play the second stage at 5:45pm followed by Weezer on the main stage at 6:30 and Imagine Dragons after. In late April, The Easthills will support Swedish rock band Europe (“The Final Countdown” & more) for their rare Indiana appearance at The Vogue in Broad Ripple in Sunday, April 26. The NCAA March Madness Festival is a free admission event. The late April show with Europe at The Vogue is on sale now via Ticketmaster.

“We haven’t played out since last November, so it is a welcome break to get out and play a few shows before we finish up the record,” said Hank Campbell. “The new music is turning out great and is really a big step up for the band, we can’t wait to share it with everyone.”

The Easthills will perform on a series of shows this June and then tour in support of the new album in late summer and into the fall.
