The Easthills will open for Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, LYNYRD SKYNYRD, on Saturday, October 3 at Emens Auditorium in Muncie, Indiana. This marks the band’s second appearance in Muncie having played there in 2014 with REO Speedwagon.
“We’re thrilled to once again play Emens and play with another band that we have been fans of for so many years, said singer/guitarist Hank Campbell. And the opportunity to play with them as part of Ball State’s Homecoming weekend really brings things full circle for me.” Campbell attended Ball State University and was a part of its theatre program before moving to New York City; prior to The Easthills. Muncie was also the birth place of many of the band’s earliest recordings as Campbell and Will Barada wrote many of their earliest songs while living in Muncie.
The Easthills will soon announce more shows for the Fall/Winter of 2015 in support of their upcoming new album. They will perform on November 22 in Terre Haute with Cheap Trick as well. Tickets for both the October 3 show in Muncie and the November 22 show in Terre Haute are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
