(INDIANAPOLIS, IN – March 1, 2016) The Easthills today released their highly anticipated 12 song full-length new album Fear and Temptation. It is available in CD format at Luna Music, thru online order at and for digital download online thru iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby and the band’s official website. Fear and Temptation follows the 2013 critically acclaimed album Death Of A Salesman and the 2014 EP World Class Prick.

A series of singles have been released in advance of Fear and Temptation including “Mothers & Fools”, “Snake In My Gut (Caroline’s Heart), “Holiday Women”, and most recently “Here Without Me”.

The Easthills founding members, Will Barada and Hank Campbell, have contributed equally on songwriting, vocals and guitars to produce a riff heavy and melodic collection of songs for Fear and Temptation. The new album continues their signature big harmonies and big guitars sound but boasts a new direction sonically and with the subject matter presented and explored. They have also incorporated a broader depth of capabilities in the studio by using various instruments and players with the end goal of making the absolute best record that they can.

The Easthills first full-length album, Death Of A Salesman, consisted of Barada, Campbell and Brad Morgan on drums. Fear and Temptation sees the full live band lineup contributing to the recording process with Wade Parish on drums, Banner Morgan on guitar, and Brad Morgan now on bass. Fear and Temptation also features renowned indie rock guitar legend Doug Gillard (Nada Surf, Guided By Voices) on six songs, Frank Hannon of Tesla and Neal Doughty of REO Speedwagon on “Holiday Women”, guitarist Rick Richards (Georgia Satellites, Izzy Stradlin) on “Here Without Me”, and Paul Barada on piano on “Remember The Kids”. The album was produced by Doug Henthorn (Healing Sixes, Joe Bonamassa, John Hiatt).

The Easthills celebrated the release of Fear and Temptation on February 27 with a sold out show in Indianapolis. They will appear at The Vogue in Indianapolis on April 3 with Candlebox and have a series of additional shows in April, and more to be announced for the summer.

The band rounded out 2015 with shows supporting Cheap Trick and the Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band and recently wrapped up their 2016 winter mini-tour. Since the inception of The Easthills they have played multiple Midwest shows with REO Speedwagon, Fastball, Georgia Satellites, The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band and Here Come the Mummies while also serving as support for Cheap Trick, Tesla, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Ian McLagan (Faces) and Blues Traveler. The band has also appeared on several noteworthy music festivals playing alongside the likes of Flaming Lips, Weezer, Roky Erikson, Guided By Voices, Meat Puppets, Chris Robinson and many more.
